Skull & Ski ("we", "us", "our") is a free-to-play entertainment website designed to need as little information about you as possible:
- Joining asks only for a name and, if you like, a display name.
- Your profile, Powder Coin balance and progress are kept in your browser, not on our servers.
- We never ask for passwords, payment cards, bank details or any other financial information.
- We don't use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.
Information we use
Joining
Your name and optional display name let us greet you, show your name in the header and let you log back in on the same browser.
Games and rewards
To run the site we keep your Powder Coin balance, the games you've opened, time played, XP, level, badges, fresh-tracks streak, milestones and a short record of recent coin activity.
Preferences
We remember choices such as your break-reminder setting, cards or list view, and whether you've seen the cookie notice.
Contact form
If you contact us, you share your name, email address and message so we can reply — see "Messages" below.
Browser storage
Sign-up, game and preference information is saved in your browser's localStorage, where it stays until you clear it — that's why your profile and coins are still there when you come back.

Session storage
We use sessionStorage for the current visit only — such as when it started and how many minutes you've played — so optional break reminders can appear. It's cleared automatically when you close the tab or window.
Our embedded games
Our 39 games are hosted on skullandski.com and load inside each game page. They can read your display name and Powder Coin balance so you can play with your coins. Nothing else is shared with them.
Cookies
The site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our host may set strictly necessary technical cookies (for security or load balancing), and fonts are delivered by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load. See our Cookie Policy.
Messages
When you contact us through the form or by email, we use your name, email address and message only to reply, and keep the conversation only as long as needed to sort things out.
Your choices
Your information lives in your browser, so you're in charge:
- Log out from the player menu to end your session on this browser.
- Delete your data at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings — your profile, coins and progress are removed permanently.
- In a private or incognito window, your profile is deleted when the window closes.
We can't see, restore or move browser-stored profiles, because they never reach our servers.
Children
Skull & Ski is intended for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
